This bracket duplicates the pivot point of an OEM power steering pump bracket that is missing when you use headers. It works on any pre-1986 Chevy small block using a long water pump.
This bracket is CNC plasma cut out of ¼” plate. It is specially designed for non-stock exhaust manifolds, headers, etc. Bracket bolts to 3 existing holes in head.
Works great with Chevelle, Monte Carlo, Nova, El Camino, Chevy Trucks & More!
Does not work with a metric P.S. pump

OEM Brackets
You still use the 2 OEM brackets that bolt to the pump itself. If you don’t have the two OEM brackets to make our bracket functional, you may purchase them through Camaros and Classics at www.camarosandclassics.com The OEM parts are: #PS 2605 Cradle that goes under PS pump and bolts to water pump and #PS 2610 Pump mount bracket with adjustment hole (see picture below)
